Stevie looks and sounds great (I’ve seen her more than 25x and her voice is a bit deeper but she can still belt out rock and sing stellar ballads-and no wrinkles b/t/w). She was very Rock Icon classy. Rod’s set was like a 60’s British throwback with lots of Austin Powers-like displays and Bond Girl musicians. A lot of fun (Rod has a lot of wrinkles-but acts like he’s decades younger than his 66 yrs). Stevie’s taping Oprah tomorrow-now that should be good. Her new album drops next month 😉

“There’s no one that can take my place,” she sang with fists shaking in “Outside the Rain,” and it wasn’t desperation she was expressing. It was total confidence.
