She’s a real star.
Looking forward to this production….It was great!
And when Ms. Marshall turns up the heat for big ensemble interpretations of “Blow, Gabriel, Blow” and “Anything Goes,” watch out. Tapping, shimmying, twirling and writhing, the dancers combine military discipline with white-hot sensuality, and the dopey promise of all those insinuating one-liners is more than fulfilled.
We attended the matinée today and enjoyed the production. The first act finale was GREAT and the second act included a lot more dancing than the first act (a good thing). Sutton Foster is De-Lovely.
Here are a few stage door photographs:
I’ve seen KG several times on the rFamily cruises. KG is very pleasant in person and very very funny on the stage. Only a ten show run…run..don’t walk to the show.
Great show. See it before it closes.
I’ve got my tickets…Sounds like fun.
The play was well conceived and the characters fully formed. I liked Sara’s charms as well as her husband’s appeal. Samuel was a good stoner and his cousin played a young and very pretty high school student. The matriarch was played well by Ms. MacShane and I felt her desire to capture long gone relationships. Jay was burdened with much anger and guilt and his performance captured his tortured life.
Back in 2003 flame-haired actress Julianne Moore bought a Far West Village townhouse for $3.5 million…after a very nice renovation and NYC appreciation…you can have it for $12.5M. I’ll take it.
